Special Education Teacher –Kate Furbish Life Skills Program

Brunswick’s Special Education Department seeks a dynamic, caring, and creative special education teacher to lead its functional life skills program at Kate Furbish Elementary School.  Students in this program have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth.  A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a willingness to seek nontraditional solutions to issues as they arise, an ability to build positive relationships with students, and a willingness to collaborate with parents, community members, special educators, regular educators, service providers, and administrators as appropriate.
